CARBSE will organize the Urban Heat Island Symposium at CEPT University, Ahmedabad. The symposium will convene leading Indian academics, policymakers, and industry experts to share insights and engage in meaningful dialogue on emerging urban heat challenges.
The event will feature focused discussions on urban heat governance in practice, weather forecasting and early warning services, heat risk management and policy interventions, planning and community-led approaches, and design strategies for heat resilience. Through these sessions, the symposium will highlight actionable pathways toward building sustainable, climate-responsive, and heat-resilient cities.
